This time we are coming at you with the most recent (and most anticipated) comebacks of our favourite idols, just in case you missed them…
Oh! GG. Sub-unit of Girls Generation - Lil’ Touch (Released Sep 05th)
Our girls are back and we will always love them. A sub-unit of Girls Generation formed this year named Oh! GG is composed of the five members that stayed with the agency: Taeyeon, Yoona, Yuri, Sunny and Hyoyeon. They are making their comeback with this sticky high beat new track called Lil’ Touch. The music video has everything we wanted from them, they look stunning, sexy and elegant more than ever, not to mention super mature. The aesthetics and the choreography are impeccable and the entire composition is amazing. We need more of you girls.
Shinee - Countless (Released Sep 10th)
2018 has been a very hard and life changing year for Shinee since Jonghyun's passing. The remaining four members have been trying to keep up with us, their fans. Coming up with a brand new album (divided into three parts) to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band was without a doubt a very hard undertaking. But here it is - the very last single of the 3rd part of The Story of Light. Countless is here to remind us to value what we have before we lose it. Take a peek and listen to the lyrics with your heart wide open. Shinee, thank you once again.
NCT - We go up (Released Aug 30th)
SM babies! We all love NCT, even if we can’t name more than 2 or 3 of the group's members. But honestly, that’s the whole point of the band. They came again with this awesome beat with their youngest members: We go up. The Music Video performed by NCT Dream is a totally new beat from them packed with lots of rap and beautiful vocals. The song We Go Up is talking about the group members and their dreams of being bigger and bigger; they keep going up as we are expecting so much from them.
Sunmi - Siren (Released Sep 3th)
Oh, our little former Wonder Girl. Sunmi is without a doubt a great example of relentless hustle. Whatever she sets her mind to she will definitely achieve. We started recognizing her as a solo artist last year with Gashima and then at the beginning of this year with Heroine. Both of them keep giving us major life with their vibes and beautiful choreo movements. Now, Sunmi came back with her second EP as a solo called Warning, releasing Siren as the title which became the all-kill in every single Korean music chart. Once again, we can’t escape the choreography and listening to these powerful lyrics coming from one of a heck strong woman. Plus, we get to see her rocking different outfits and personas. She’s beautiful, very close to her fans and so down to earth we can't even believe for it to be possible. Sunmi, hats off to a successful career!
BTS - Idol Ft. Nicki Minaj (Released Sep 06th)
Well, it is time for everyone’s top fave. BTS is one of those groups you always knew, you always loved and yet they don’t seem to stop impressing you, am I right? Seriously though! You guys BTS is perfection. This time around, two weeks after releasing their latest song Idol, they decided to be even bolder and slay a collab with Nicki Minaj. Could they do it even more perfectly? THANK YOU BTS!!! You inspired us all to love ourselves no matter who we are and you also got us screaming What’s up Korea to Nicki’s voice. And don’t even get me started on the MV; have you guys seen that choreography? We have been harboring love for BTS for years and we have to thank them for their reach and opening the doors to other idols in the western countries.
GOT7 - Lullaby (Released Sep 17th)
After a year of different solo projects, GOT7 returns with this new single which gives them a whole new vibe, without taking away what makes them GOT7. Each song is beautifully staged and the band members each has their own part and they sound perfectly in it. The MV is full of colours and animations which makes it a totally new concept for them and we love it. We’ve been waiting for a GOT7 comeback for quite some time now and we finally got it! So go ahead Soju fam and show some love to our JYP’s.
Well, that's it for now kiddos. Hope you enjoyed each and every music video and song. I have two more things to say though:
I can’t wait for October 19th.
And EXO, where are you?
Besos - Jorge AO
